We are pleased to announce the Q2 2017 course releases, available to members beginning May 9, 2017.
Sphere Handbook in Action - English, French, Spanish and Arabic
The course brings the Sphere Handbook to life through the use of realistic scenarios, helping the learner to get acquainted with its core messages and to understand how to use it holistically. This 2017 version of the Sphere Handbook in action incorporates the CHS and is mobile-friendly.
Our gratitude to The Sphere Project for sharing these courses with LINGOs members.
Sphere Project- Sphere for Managers (English and Arabic; French and Spanish coming soon)
This one-hour course provides a snapshot of the benefits and application of the Sphere Handbook and how to integrate Sphere into your organization.
Humanitarian Leadership Academy - Introduction to the Core Humanitarian Standard (English, French)
The Core Humanitarian Standard on Quality and Accountability (the CHS) tells organisations and individuals how to ensure they deliver quality, effective and accountable humanitarian responses.
The CHS contains Nine Commitments, which are explained in this elearning course. Each commitment includes key actions and organisational responsibilities ("what you should be doing") and indicators ("are you doing it right?")
This elearning module introduces the CHS. Even if you do not work for a humanitarian organisation or are not involved in programme delivery, it is useful for everyone to know about the Nine Commitments, as it will help you to understand why humanitarian organisations act in certain ways.
The course was developed in partnership with the CHS Alliance, the Sphere Project, Groupe URD and IECAH.

DIY Learn is an online learning program in innovation, developed by Nesta and the Rockefeller Foundation in partnership with the Open University.
There is a lot of online content and training on innovation already out there, but for busy people it can be difficult to know what is really useful. DIY Learn cuts through this, presenting a collection of the most useful and widely used tools in the DIY Toolkit. Nesta’s aim is to make innovation learning more accessible in order to accelerate the uptake of innovation methods.
LINGOs is excited to be offering these courses to members through our new partnership with Nesta!
The Nesta DIY learn courses will be available soon!
